Splash of the Week
100 Days of Blue Mind. A Summer to Connect.
Hi friend,
You know that feeling. You're near water and your mind quiets.
That’s Blue Mind. And this summer, I’m inviting you to live in it—on purpose.
What’s the challenge?
From May 26 to September 2, join me for 100 Days of Blue Mind.
It’s simple: Spend time near, in, or around water every day—or most days.
That could mean:
💧 A morning shower with no distractions
🧊 Running cold water over your wrists
🌊 Swimming, floating, soaking, or wading
🌧 Listening to rain
💦 Washing your hands like it’s a ritual
🚿 Paying attention to how your body feels in water
Big or small, just connect with water. Share your moments with #bluemindchallenge and reply to this email if you're in—I’d love to hear where you're starting.
Wait… is this also about drinking more water?
Honestly? No. Drink when you’re thirsty. This isn’t about hitting 3 liters.
It’s about how you live, not how much you chug. It is about giving water some of the health back that it extends to us. It is about appreciating the watershed and what it does for you. It’s about feeling more like you again—through water.
What is Blue Mind?
“Blue Mind” is a term coined by marine biologist Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, who wrote a whole book about it in 2014. Water makes us more creative and more connected. MRI scans, neuroscience, and mood studies all back it up. But really, you already know this in your cells. You don’t need to live by the ocean. You just need to notice the water within and around you.
Why Now?
For the last two summers, I took a personal water sabbatical.
Every day was guided by sleep, water-rich foods, being outdoors and playing more. I shared meadow walks and moments that felt like me again. And the DMs started rolling in:
“Wait, what’s this Blue Mind thing?”
“Why do I feel so much better after a swim?”
“Can I join?”
Yes. You can.
It’s not a product.
It’s a practice.
And it’s free.
Blue Health = Mental Health
Blue Health is now being explored by city planners, neuroscientists, and climate psychologists. Why? Because we’re overstimulated, over-indoors, and under-connected.
Water is one of the simplest ways to regulate your nervous system.
Even without the beach.
Even without a bath.
Even on busy days.
Wind in your face.
Water in your cells.
That’s Blue Mind.
Let’s not overthink it.
Let’s just play.
See you by the water,
— Clouds
P.S. I’ll be sharing simple rituals, stories, and watery reminders every week here. If you know someone who needs a little more flow, forward this their way.

YOUR HYDRATION EDIT
Each edition, we handpick stories, trends, and insights that connect with our Water Method philosophy. From the source of your water to how you move, restore, and live around it—plus the latest in wellness real estate, the fastest-growing sector in the wellness world.
Today, a little water appreciation post (as I’ve been celebrating music and creating magic in Portugal and skipped the news 😊).
Water
is clearly
a mystery to me.
A solid?
A liquid?
A gas?
It’s all three.
Bringing joy
health and wealth
and true
relaxation.
What’s missing today
is just more
appreciation.

MY 4-STEP WATER METHOD TO WELLNESS
A Rhythm for Real Hydration & More Play in Your Life.
Water wellness isn’t about rules or rigid routines. It’s about reconnecting with what nourishes you at the deepest level. I created this 4-step method as a simple rhythm anyone can follow—one that flows with your real life, not against it.
Here’s how it works:
1. Source:
Know where your water comes from. Support clean, local sources when you can, and stay informed. What’s in your water matters.
2. Filter:
Remove what doesn’t belong—in your water and your life. Think toxins, noise, stressors, and outdated wellness advice.
3. Charge:
Hydration is about energy. Get outside, move your lymph, remineralize your water, and let the sun (or sauna) do its thing.
4. Splash + Play:
This is the part most of us forget. Hydration isn’t just a task—it’s an experience. Laugh. Swim. Dance in the rain.
Play is not a luxury. It’s how water moves. Effortless, spontaneous, sometimes wild—but always alive. Whether it’s a cold plunge, a hot bath, or jumping into the ocean with all your clothes on… this is the part that brings joy back into wellness. It is not just about your wellness, but the wellness of your water.
So don’t just hydrate. Feel it. Play with it. Let water remind you that you’re meant to flow.
